Meetings at Roebuck Hotel, Ware
The Roebuck Hotel is situated in the medieval town of Ware, close to the A10, with easy access to London, Cambridge and Stansted Airport, it is a good choice for business events and conferences, and is within easy walking distance of the town centre.
The hotel takes pride in hosting a variety of local and national training events, and with 49 en-suite bedrooms is equally suitable for residential conferences as for shorter meetings. With a choice of five air-conditioned suites, ranging in capacity from 5 up to 200 delegates in a theatre-style layout all offering FREE WiFi internet access, The Roebuck Hotel is the ideal venue for presentations, seminars and product launches.
The Marlborough Suite is situated on the ground floor and is an excellent choice for conferences for up to 200 delegates. The suite has the added benefit of air-conditioning, self-adjustable lighting and its own private bar area. It also has the versatility to be partitioned into three separate rooms, Suite 1 and Suite 2 plus a refreshment area. The Marlborough Suite also has direct access to the car park, making it the perfect venue for exhibitions and product launches.
Located on the first floor in the original part of the hotel, the room has retained much of its 19th century character. Including superb high ceilings, chandeliers and large sash windows letting in plenty of natural daylight. The Viceroy room is fully air-conditioned and is well suited for boardroom meeting and training courses for up to 30 delegates. The room also offers direct access to our Terrace Roof Garden with ornamental fishpond, which in good weather is ideal for refreshments breaks and barbeques.
The Trafalgar Room is located on the first floor close to the main staircase and lift. The room has natural daylight and air-conditioning and is popular for small meetings for up to 16 delegates. It may also be used in conjunction with the other suites for syndicate work or interviews.
Waterloo Suite 1 & 2
The Waterloo Suite is a versatile conference area consisting of two interconnecting rooms, linked by a private bar. Waterloo 1 is ideal for boardroom style meetings for up to 24 delegates and Waterloo 2 for up to 16 delegates. Both rooms are fully air-conditioned and have natural daylight, and lead out on to the Roof Garden Terrace.
